Título:How to Meditate? ~ Self-Inquiry and Self-Investigation - [ MINDFULNESS ]Descrição:Excerpts from the book “True Happiness”, edited by Arthur Osborne.
Bhagavan Sri Râmana Mahârshi (1879 - 1950), was a master of Advaita Vedanta and a famous saint from southern India, considered one of the greatest sages of all time.
His teachings, simple, profound and lucid, are recorded in a large number of books. The essence of his teachings is "Vichara" (self-inquiry), or investigation, where through questions such as: "Who am I?", or, "Where does the thought 'I' arise from?", one discovers the "Truth, our real nature". Ramana warns us that this is not a matter of mere verbal, mechanical questioning, but of always bringing to the focus of attention, through this questioning, the feeling of "I am", which is the only real thing, since all other things change and pass away, while this consciousness of the self remains.

“Even the environment that surrounds you is not of your choosing; it is there, as it should be. You must rise above it and not get involved.”

“Seek the mind. When sought, it disappears.”

This video is part of the 'I Am' playlist from the The Middle Way channel, whose objective is to make us understand that we are not the suffering “I”, the illusion that we create of ourselves, which does not allow us to enjoy the Plenitude, the Joy of Existence. In this understanding, the dissolution of the “I” occurs, leading us to the recognition of who we are, permanent Peace and Happiness, beyond thoughts, feelings and emotions.
